Foster, Dwight Ed- minsten and Mr. Ward has been very successful, about sixteen having been baptised'In a beau tiful service at the Ferguson River bridge Sunday morning at ten o’clock. The meeting Is con tinuing and we are advised there have been several additional con versions since Sunday and ano ther Baptismal service will be held Tuesday afternoon. The school faculty, the patrons and all the churches of the community have combined in a most coopera tive spirit in making the revival success. Mr. L. C. Matherly and Mr. Fred Walsh have been very active in furnishing music, tor the meeting and they have provided some very fine song book.s for the church, which have helped very materially in the musical programs. It was an in spiring scene to see so many young jjeople align themselves with the church, the greatest in- sHuation on earth. Grown men broke down and wept as they wit nessed their children taking a stand for the more abundant life. Our old Philosophy teacher, who you would think could see sermons only in stones, often said to his pupils. “If you feel like weeping or shouting, do so. Such demonstrations are often signs of rejoicing. A man in our community whose name is seldom seen in print de serves quite a bit of recognition and that man is Albert Marley. Two years ago or more he hap pened to a very distressing auto- nobile accident in which he had ')Oth less broken and otherwise was badly i'niured. He had not more than recovered from this until the August. 1940. flood came : long and destroyed his home, taking Urn house and all.* contents. In spite of all these reverses.
