Tomlinson — 100 An Impressive funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Moravian Falls for Mrs. Gertrude Hubbard Pearson. The service took place at the home of Mrs. Pearson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Hubbard, and was at tended by a large number of rel atives and friends. Mrs. Pearson, wife of Mr. Bruce Pearson, died at Moravian Falls early Monday morning fol lowing an illness of many years. The service was In charge cf Rev. J. M. Creep, pastor of the deceased, assisted by Rev. A. C_. Gibbs, superintendent ‘of the El kin Methodist district, and Rev. J. E. Hlpp, pastor of the Boule vard Methodist church In States ville.
