Gambill, son of Mr. aAd Mrs. Buel Gambill, of North irakeaboro Route 1, has re turned 'trom serving with the Sixth Aiunored division of the Third Army In Germany, where he was wounded on December 9. After being wounded he was In a hMpltial In England until Iasi month, when he was returned to the States and to Finney general hospital at Thomasville, Ga. . Oamblll’s father recently Tlslted him and learned how he was wounded. Pvt. Gambill had been In combat several weeks and was dispatching a message to an other outfit at night over a road which was under shell fire from Germans only 300 yards distant. No lights were on the vehicle and he was traveling at high speed when a collision occurred with a dispatcher from the other outfit. In the collision Pvt.
