Mr. Darlington, son of Mrs. M. M. Darlington, of ? this city, went to New York City 24 years ago. For some time there he was supervisor of Stewart's Cafeter ias. He was also a restaurant owner and managed two other restaurants. During the war he was in Cairo, Egypt, where he operated a commissary for 1460 American engineers. While here on a visit several days ago Mr. Darlington saw the rock building at Moravian Falls and immediately decided to buy it from T. J. Frazier and to es tablish the Mimosa House res taurant, which he opened this week.
