Honor gift from the hostesses for Miss Lottes was silver in her chosen pattern and a corsage of pink carnations. Recipes and advice to the bride elect provided some humorous entertainment. At the close ol the evening the hostesses served a sweet course. On Wednesday evening Mrs. Glenn Winters and two sisters, Misses Blanche an one present. Favors for the guests were tiny rice bags. Wilkesboro Fidel is Class In Meeting The Fidelis. class of the Wil kesborq Baptist church met Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Arthur Lowe with Mrs. Caswell Yates and Mrs. Kenneth Moore as associate hostesses. Mrs. Robert Foster led the devo tions, Mrs. W. N. Brookshire presided for the business session, and Mrs. A. A. Sturdivant direct ed, two interesting contests. Class Met Tuesday Around twenty-five were pres ent for the April meeting of the Fidelis class of the North Wil kesboro First Baptist church held at the home of Miss Mae Foster Tuesday evening with Mrs. Dew ey Minton, Mrs. J. G. Chipman, Misses Lunda Hendren, Gladys Lomax, and Corinna Robbs as as sociate hostesses. Mrs. Chal Mc Niel, the president, was in charge of the business session, and Mrs. C. B. Eller, teacher of class, gave the devotions. For the rogram Miss Lunda Hendren presented Miss Mildred Bradford, teacher in the North Wilkesboro public school, who gave a most interesting talk on Nicaragua in South America.
