from Wednesday until Prlday
attending the annual meeting of
the Garden Club of North Caro
lina, Inc., held it Sedgefleld Inn,
and Mrs. A. C. Chamberlain went
down for the day on Thursday.
The local Garden club, of which
Mrs. Gardner (served as presi
dent for the pist year, received
the first state alward for the best
program for protecting birds.
