It is thought some one may have stolen him from the old Poote- place, as no one lives there now. The Cranberry revival will be held the second Sunday in No vember. Rev. Clarence Gwaltney 1 will be guest minister. It is hoped to have the new brick veneer, church which appears very hand some, complete^ by that time. Rev. N. T. Jarvis has not been as well as usual during the sum lmer and early fall. Besides be ing helpless nearly nine years, he seems to have been troubled much of the time by nausea and vomiting. Rev. L. T. Younger has been I re-elected pastor of Cranberry church. Rev. Johnny Huffman has also been re-elected pastor of I Oak Forest church at Dellaplane. Mr. H. Ij. It is built of cement blocks. Mr. Avery Minton moved his sawmill back to the old TBley place after having it at Mr. Will Anderson's. Mr. Minton has been sawing at the old Tilley place going on 3 years. Mr. R. G. Bd minston sawed there fourteen months in 1939 and 1940. Furniture Subiect Of Pores Knob Club The Pores Knob (Home Demon stration club met at the Com munity House Friday, Sept. 10th, at 2 p. m. for the regular meet ing with 20 members present. The meeting was called to or der by the president, Mrs. J. M. Bentley. The club rooe and re peated the collect and sang, "It's a Good Time to Get Together." Mrs. C. M. She showed different kinds of springs, coverings, and pad dings used In upholstered furni ture. At the close of the meeting canned foods were labeled to be put on exhibit at the fair.
