(Photo by Lane Atkinson, Jr.) CERTIFICATES AWARDED 92 LOCAL SALESPERSONS IN SALES INSTITUTE The Retail Sales Training Pro gram that has been in progress in North Wilkesboro for two weeks, came to a successful close Thursday evening, September 9, when 92 local sales persons and managers received certificates for having completed the course, "Selling Technique". The pro gram was given by the Distribu tive Education Service of the State Department of Public In struction, and was sponsored lo cally by the Wilkes Chamber of Commerce. Among the guests at tending the meeting Thursday evening, were a number of mana gers of lcoal stores, the board of directors of the Wilkes^ Cham ber of Commerce, J.P.
