Casey, who has been staying in Tucson, Orizona, with her daughters, Misses Doris and Bobbie Casey, is spending a while here now at her home with her husband, Dr. Casey. Mr. Shelton Edwards, student of Lenoir-Rhyne College, spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Edwards, and his grandmother,1 Mrs. Asa Greene. Mr/Cecil Wiles and daughters, Doris and Carolyn, visited Mrs. Wiles Sunday at the Baptist hos pital in Winston-Salem. Friends are glad to know that Mrs. Wiles is improving. Mr. and Mrs. Red Carlton, of Lakeworth, Florida, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carlton, of Tampa, Florida, visited Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Meadows and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Meadows at Pores KnOb- on Sunday. Mr. Jay Brewer, of Winston Salem, visited relatives and friends *here Friday. Mr. Brewer, who formerly held a position with Bocock-Stroud store, is now in insurance business represent ing Mutual Benefit Life Insur ance company In the Winston Salem area. Mr. Tom Daddlno has returned here from a visit to his home in Delanco, N. J. He was accom pnaied back to North Wilkes boro by his wife and daughter, Lorraine, who.' will make their home here with him. Tom is'a member of Eller's Bluejackets basketball team and first base man for the North Wilkesboro Flashers baseball team.
