I am sure I would slip by with out * report Of our club mooting if the girls who make our scrap book would keep Bilont. May 3, a large crowd gathered at the community house and our vice-president, Mrs. Clinton Eller, presided. After song, scripture, prayer, minutes, reports and roll call, Mrs. Turner made announce ments and called on Mrs. Clyde .Shoemaker, who read an interest ing article. Mrs. Oreen introduced Miss Ad die Malone, who gave us advice on buying home freezers and follow ed with a demonstration of pack aging strawberries for a freezer, and telling us how to prepare other fruits and vegetables for I freezing. Of most interest to me wv the chickens she packaged, giving In detail every step from catching the chickens to putting them in the home freeser or locker. My attention was held throughout her interesting demonstration, for I Wondered who would eat all those good looking packages. .Then came relief, for Miss Malone announced that she would 'come back and cook the chickens and we would get to eath both chicken and 'strawberries. Yum! Turn! Three new members were added to our roll. During our social hour the hostesses, Mesdames Electa Good win, Virginia Bumgarner and Dolly Wagoner served drinks, cake and cream. We chatted for awhile ,then came away to await anxiously for our-next club meeting.—By Club Reporter. o Roaring River 4-H Club' News Notes The 4-H Club of Roaring River meets the first Tuesday in every month.
