VITAMIN Bu Bar NIACIN AND IRON DEFICIENCIES
Bin. Wallace tells her granddaughter, Maynell Wallace, over the

Mrs. Belle Wallace, 449 Form

blessings it has brought her that
Ac has recommended HADACOL
to a number of her friends. She
told them she would pay for their
bottles of HADACOL if it didn't

smile that she hasn't had to pay
any —of her friends, because
HADACOL has helped them.
Mrs. Wallace, who is 74 years
old, has five children, seven
grand -children and two great
grandchildren. She was suffering
from a deficiency of Vitamins Bj,
B., Niacin and Iron, which HAD
ACOL contains.
Mrs.. Wallace said: *1 couldn't
sleep or eat until I started taking
HADACOL. Td lie awake and toss
and turn until the small hours of
the m«rnlng. I was highly nervous.
I couldn't even thread a needle.
But, since I've been taking HADA
COL, my nerves are as steady as
can be. I couldn't eat because
when I did my stomach would puff
and bloat and fill with gas. I am
on the 7th bottle of HADACOL
and my stomach is so much better.
Appetite Good
1 have a good appetite and my
stomach does not bloat or fill
with gas. I sleep like a log. I
have recommended HADACOL to
a number of friends who were
suffering as I had suffered, and
have told them that if it didn't
help them, too, I'd pay for it, but
I didn't have to because HADA
COL did help them. HADACOL
has done me more good than any
thing I have ever taken."

Mr. Kelly Pipes, whose farm is
out beyond Moravian Falls, re
cently had a very interesting ex
perience with , cover crops. Find
ing it necessary to plow up a field
of very rolling land Mr. Pipes
had foreseen the passibility of
erosion from heavy spring rains
and had sowtn the field in a
crimson clover cover crop last fall
but this spring he decided to en
large the field and plowed up a
strip of land higher on the hill
that had not been sown in clover.
Speaking of the hard rains that
have fallen lately Mr. Pipes said.
"The top of the liill was washing
very badly but when it reached the
lower section where the clover
had been plowed in the washing
stopped almost suddenly.''
Mr. Buel Sparks Of Dockery,

water conservation plan on his
farm has established some of the
best grass and clover hay and
pasture crops to be found in these

mighty blow," declared Siler City
Chief of Police June Moody today
in describing the action of a local
Negro who laid three other Neg

blow with a beer bottle in a fight
here this week.
Charlie Crutchfield, the man
who used the bottle, is now under
$206 bond for appearance in Chat
ham County Recorder's Court on
charges of assault and battery,
following a hearing before Justice
of the Peace H. L. Stone.
According to testimony, the
three injured -men, James Haith,
Donnie Moffitt, and Roscoe Wom
ble, were sitting at the rear of a
dance hall in the Negro section of
Siler City, when Crutchfield hit
Haith on the head with the beer
bottle which shattered and the bot
tom of it struck Moffitt on the
arm, cutting him severely. Another
piece of the bottle struck Womble
