They went there to take Sarah for a check-up at the Uni versity of Pennsylvania Hospital. Eichelberger was at Lake Junaluska last week with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Geddie Strickland, of Albemarle, who was there attending the Western North Carolina Conference of the Meth odist Woman's Society. Mrs. Strickland, promotion secretary of the Salisbury district, appear ed on the conference program. Mrs. R. H. Starnes, of Hender sonville, visited here from Satur day until Tuesday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Shell, when Mr. Starnes came down for the Fourth to accompany her home. Mrs. Shell and Miss Dot Shell visited with the Starnes for several days last week, and brought Mrs. Starnes home with them.
