It is a handsome white corn, and produces from three to eight stalks from each grain, each stalk bearing twe to three ears of Coru-f-and the enckera are as prolific as the original stalc, bearing an equal num ber of ears. 1 procured small quaatity of this corn through the mail, and planted nine grain in a common sandy garden, .that had never received any other manure than frpm the stable and barn yard, and the result was eighty-six silks and 6ftv aight ears ! Had not the drought come upon it "at the time it did, several ot&er ears would have ma tured. I will send packages, of One hundred grains each, post-paid, for one dollar, tto any one remitting me that sum ; aud I feel confident no man who invests thia small sum for this Corn will regret the experi ment. There is also a large and valuable Or gan for daily religious services. The Bible is re gularly studied, and throughout the whole course, regard is had to the moral culture of the Student. The young ladies do not visit the stores nor Post Office, but make all purchases through the agency of friends . All letters received pass through the hands of the Principal, and where there is suspi cion of a clandestine correspondence, the letters are sent unopened to the Parent or Guardian. The Students do not go abroad without a proper atten dant. They are not allowed to visit, nor to receive calls, nor to attend any exhibition without permis sion from the Principal. They attend divine ser vice on the Sabbath at such place as the Parent or Guardian may direct. To prevent rivalry in dress, a simple uniform is prescribed. There are two ses sions commencing on the 2d Wednesdays of Octo ber and March. The vacation is from the last Thusday in July to the 2d. Wednesday in October. Students can enter at any time and are charged accordingly. No deduction for tuition will be made after entering, except in cases of protrated illness, when one half the bill wi 1 be deducted. Parents and Guardians are earnestly requested not to bring nor remove young ladies on the Sabbath. To those living near the railroads, Murfroesboro' is most accessible by the way of Boykin's Depot, on the Seabord and Roanoke Road, 12 miles from the Institute, where a regular conveyance will al ways be found.
