Friday, at eight o'clock, A.M., instead of nine o'cpek,

Arrangements have been made by this company for
thsrprompt and punctual forwarding and delivery of
all produoe, goods, or other articles of freight designed
for transportation either way, between Richmond and
points between ' Petersburg and Raleigh, Ridge way,
tireensboro', Salisbury and Charlotte, North Carolina,
at low rates. Without any charge, for forwarding, stor
age, Ac All such articles seat to Richmond, should
be.ronsigned and plainly marked " To the care of the
Freight Agent of the Richmond and Petersburg Rail
road, at Petersburg by whom they wDl be promptly
forwarded. As to rates of tolls on the roads south of
Petemborg (which they require to be prepaid as far as

peculiar composition or enamel to common red bricks,
and a variety ef other building material, ornamental

purest white to the deepest black, with all the colors

which it is applied a hardness and durability almost
incredible, and a beauty surpassing tht of the rarest
and most costly ot the variegated marbles, and unlike
them, is impervious to moisture, and will never fade,
stain, or deteriorate, costing but a fractional part of
the price of ordinary marble.
It is also valuable for table and stand tops, mantle
pieces, monuments, and an endless variety of other
articles of staple use. The process of applying the
enamel is siiaple, while the articles enameled will com
mand a ready sale, affording large profits. Responsi
ble parties may procure licenses for manufacturing un
der the patent for any city or prominent town in the
United States by applying to the sub -criber. A small
tariff on the articles manufactured will be required for
the use of the invention. Circulars giving fall particu
lars will be forwarded to all applicants.
