Brandreth's Pills.
A Vegetable V Universal medicine.
THESE Pills cure all diseases by purify iug the
blood They give to all the orgs us of the body
tbd proper ainouul of life uecessary tollier purifica
tion. They are a fountain or health to au. man
kind, and may be justly said to give the beauty and
vigor of youth to the weakness and decreptitude of
age. Can it be believed that after being before the
public for nroely-oue year, their sale should only
uow be a little rising a million of boxes per year?
But so it is, and it is ouly to be attributed to fatal pre
judice, or their sale would be at least twenty mil
lions of boxes per year instead of only one miilion.
Let all the sick use them they will soon be among
the healthy ; let all who would secure themselves
from sickness have them by them, in case of a ud
deu attack ; lor a few doses taken when the body
commences to get out of order, and the beuefit is
secured at once. Fathers and mothers, attend to
this subject ; sons aud daughters, attend to this sub
ject ; let all men and women ask themselves the
question, whether what has stood the lest of time so
loog does not d"ser ve some attention.
And who is to be benefitted ? Those who use the
Braodreth Pills. They are tbe ones that receive the
interest of a thousand per dfeuL How? Iu a pres
ent pavmeot of health, of vivacity for dullness, ol
brightness and clearness of perception, in place of
cloudiness and confusion of mind.
Braudreth's Fills are a life preserver Those who
know their qualities feel secure in fjr health aud
faculties being preserved to them tqgjo indefiuile pe
riod. They are equally good in allkinds ol disease,
no matter how called, because they cannot be used
without taking out impurities from the blood, and
perseverauce will cause its perfect purificatiou, aud no
disease can be present when the blood is pure.

Da. B. BaANDftETn:
By Dear Sir : We, the undersigned, being fully
convinced of the superior quality of your Vegetable
Universal Pills over all others as a Cathartic Medi
cine, which opinion is foouded on our own personal
experience haring used them for years as a family
medicine. We therefore take pleasure in thus re
commending them as specially excelleul in prevent
ing aud curing those bilious difficulties to which al
most every individual is, at certain periods of the
year, more or less subject. In all dyspeptic cases in
which we have seen them used, they have affected a
perfect cure. The method of using them was to lake
one or two every night when going to bed. Who
ever that is dyspeptic, and follows this advice, will
be sure of a cure, so we believe, as we have never
known them to fail. . Nothing but tbe welfare of our
fellow-beings has induced us to write iIim ; you will
therefore confer a particular favor upon us by hav
ing it published.

Mcssas. Wyatt 6c Kitcham : Gents For 3d
years 1 have been afflicted with Piles, general Debil
ity, and Inflammation, causing tumors and prolapsus
of the bowels, and which had resisted all the medical
treatment Dr. Chapman and others could give. The
last three years of that time my sufferings defy de
scription. 1 was confined to bed unable to help my.
self, and at last given up by my physicians aad friends
in despair of ever gaining my health; in fact, for a
lime before I commenced using Dr. Upham's Elec
tuary,! was entirely speechless, and ray burial clothes
were made. But under the beneficent mercies of
Providence, and the use of Dr. Upham's Electuary,
though an old mast, I have the pleasure of staling
the fact to tbe public that my health is now good,
and I hope to live many years, if it is God's will, to
make known the virtues of Dr. Upham's Electuary,
and to recommend it to my afflicted fellow creatures.
It helped me beyond the expectations of ail who
knew my case, and I can only say to others, that it
is in my opinion, tbe best medicine in the world for
Piles, or any other disease of the bowels ; and if they
will use it according to the directions, I will myself
warrant a cure, in every case.
Yours, with the utmost expression of thankfulness,

THE success which has attended HASTINGS'
NAPHTHA SYRUP, in Decline, Consump
tion, Spitting of Blood, Asthma -c , since its introduc
tion into the United Stales, fully eq tats what it met
wilh in Europe. Its use has been adopted in nearly
all our large hospitals ; and the most eminent, of or
physicians have wriileu highly favorable notices of it,
and patronise it extensively iu their private practice.
Indeed, they have almost abandoned all other reme
dies for the usual diseases of the luugs; and a single
case has not yet been reported iu which it has failed
to give satisfaction and relief. If the reader is at all
iuciiued to Consumption. or affected with any of the
diseases which are likely to produce it, let Itita lose
no t me in procuring a bottle of HASTINGS' NA
PHTHA Sx RUr, and one or two doses will satisfy
him of its surprising virtues, and that a 6bort contin
uance of its use will restore him to health ; for it not
only cures in a brief period, but gives relief, and a
warrant of ils excellence, and inas'.ery over the dis
ease, iu a few miuutes after it is received iuto the
system. Hence Sir James Clarke, tbe Court physi
cian, remarks of it, that " in consequence of the brisk
aud unmi6takeable energy of ils operations, no
medicine has so much the confidence of patients as
