BN consequence of the resignation of Major Gen. eral of the 7th Division, snd Lieutenant Colonel ot the 35th Regiment, Brig. Gen. J. B. Litllejuhn has ordered an election to be held in the City of Raleigh, on the 3d day of August, (1st Friday) to supply the places of such resignations. You are therefore, hereby corumauded to meet in this City, on the 3d of August, for the purpose of holding an election for Major General of the 7th Division, and Lieutenant Colone'. of the 35th Regiment of North Carolina Militia. The plantation is well watered and oue third of the land in cultivation is low-ground. There are, also, about thirty thousand turpentine boxes cut.
