C. JT. Jackson, AT THB CERX&N MEDIC INE STORM, Ifo, 120, Arch Street, Philadelphia. Tkrir porter orer the above disease is not excelled, i equalled by any other preparation in the United State,u the cures attest, 'n many use after skil ful physicians had failed. These Bitters are worth y the attention of invalids. Possessing great virtues in the rectification of dia bases of tbe Liver atid leaser glands, exercising the most searching powers in weaknesses and affections of the digestive organs, the are withal, safe, cer tain, and pleasant. READ AND BE CONVINCED. From the "Boston Bee." The Editor said. Dec. 23d. l-Dr HooHand's Celebrated German Bitters, for the ear of Liver Complaint, Jaundice, Dyspepsia. Chronic or Nervous Debility, is deservedly one of the most popular medicines of the day. These Bit ters have been used by thousands, and a frieud at oar elbow says he has himself received an effectual and permanent cure of Liver Complaint from the use of this remedy. We are convinced that, in the use of these Bitters, the patient coustantly gains strength and vigor, a fact worthy of great consider ation They are pleasant in taste and smell, and caji be used by persons with the most delicate stomachs with safety, under any circumstances. We are speaking from experience, and ta the af flicted we advise their use." "Scon's Wtatv," one of the best Literary papers pabliobed. said, August 25 " Dr. HoofianiTs German Bitters, manufactured by Dr. Jackson, are now recommended by some of the most prominent members of tbe faemlty, as an article of much efficacy in case ef female weakness As such is the case, we would advise all mothers to obtain a bottle and thoTsave themselves much sick ness. Persons of debilitated constitutions will find these Bitters advantageous to their health as we know from experience thealutary effect that they have upon weak systems." Judge M. M. Noah, a gentleman of great liter ary and scientific attainments, said in his "New York Weekly Me5en2er, January 6. 1850. " Dr. Hqfaruft German Bitters. Here is a pre paration which the leading presses in the Union appear to be unanimous in recommending, and tbe reason is obvious. It is made after a proscription furnished by one of the most celebrated physicians f modern tiroes, the late Dr Christopher Wilhelro Hoofliad, Professor to the University of Jena, Pri vate Physician to the Kin? of Prussia, and one of the greatest medical writers Germany has everpro craced. He was emphatically the enemy of humbug, and therefore a medicine of which he wss the iu veoter and endorser may be confidently relied on. He specially recommended it ia Liver Complaint, Dyspepsia, Debility, Vertigo, Acidity of the Stom ach, Constipation and all complaints arising from a disordered condition of the stomach, the Liver and the iatestinee. Nine Philadelphia papers express their conviction of its excellence, and several of the editors peak of its effects from their own inoivid oal exnerieaee. Uuder these circumstances we feel warranted, net only in calling the atteution of eor readers to tbe present proprietor's (Dr. C. M Jack son's) preparation, but iu recommending the article to all afflicted." MORE EVIDENCE. The'PHiLABswMiA Satusdat Gazsttk, the best familv newspaper published in the United States, the editor says of DR. HOOFLAND'S GERMAN BITTERS. It is seldom that we recommend what are termed Patent Medicines to the confidence and patronage of onr readers; and, therefore, when we recommend Dr. lioefland's German Bitters, we wish it to be drstiactly understood that we are not speaking' of th KMiruni of tne oay, mat are noiseo snoot ror a brief neriod and then forgotten after they have done thtir guilty race of mischief, but of a medicine lone established, universally prixed, and whieh has met the heart approval of the faculty itself Evidence uron evidence baa been received (like the foregoing) from all sections ol the Union, the last three years, and the strongest testimony in its Moor, is, that there is more oi n osea in me prae iTeeof the reiular physicians of Philadelphia, than all other nostrums combined a fact that can be easily established, and f ally proving that a scien tific preparation will meet with their quiet approval when presented even in this form. That this medicine will care Liver Complaint ad Dyspepaia.no one can doubt, after using it as directed. It acta specifically upon the stomsea aad ' liver; it is preferable to calomel in all bilious dis oases ; the effect is immediate. They can be ad niniMtered to r cm ale or INFANT with safely and reliable benefit, at any time. BEWARE OF COUNTERFEITS. This medicine has attained that high character which is necessary for all medicines to attain, to induce counterfeiters te put forth a spurious article at the risk of the lives of those who are innocently deceived. LOOK WELL TO THE MARKS OF TEE GENUINE. They have the writteu sjguature of C. W. JACK SON upon the wrapper, and tbe name blown in tbe bottle, rcithout nhich they are spurious.
