THE PASHA STEPS OUT
Pasha, the crystal gazer, who
has been exhibiting his psychic
powers in the lobby of the Plaza
picture theater, borrowed $3
rrom Old Sim. Tuesday evening.
Along came Tubby Barger and
offered Pasha a drink. The two
went and got into the Pasha’s
big car and disappeared. About
1:30 the Liberty Comfort Station
called the sheriff and said Tubby
and a big dark man were causing
a disturbance. The Crystal Oazer
and Tubby disappeared as the
Sheriff arrived but they later
landed in Jail—Tubby for being
drunk and the Pasha for failing
to stop after running into the
car of R. K. Cline, three miles
north of Joplin.

Brighter tress, and slimmer

Gentler voice and younger

Would charm 1
