It becomes like new leather, in all respects, with a delightful softness and polish, and makes all leather completely and perfectly impervious to water partic ularly boots shoes, carriage tops har ness, hose, trunks, and in fact all things 'Made of leather, giving a splendid polish, even higher than new leather has, and at least doubling its wear and durability, in whatever manner the leather is used These are Facts. Those who will wear old shoes, groan with corns, ride with old carriage lops have old harness and throw them away half used look filthy themselves, and all about them expend double what is nc ; cessary for articles of leather, to their hearts' content, for what we care, if their prejudices are so strong they will not tr a new discovery. It fs admitted by all Doc tors that scarce a man, woman or child extels but what are sooner or later 'trou bled with worms, and in hu.noVeuVof ca ses, sad to relate, a supposed feVeV, scar latina, cold, or some other ailing carries off the flowers of trie whole human fami ly while in tru;h the die of Worms'! and these could have oetfh 'eradicated in a day, by the use of a bottle of Kolmstock's Vermifuge, At the cost of a quarter of a dollat ! How sickening the thougtit 'that these things should be and who can forgiVe themselves for iiot trying this IVorm Ex terminator, when they know that even if the case was hot worms, this remedy could not by any possibility civ '"J1 oul always good as a purgative let the dis ease be what it may. How important then lo use it, and who will dare take the responsibility to do without if? Let eve ry parent that is not a bVute, ask them selves this question in truth & soberness. In some of the best families in the neigh borhood of St. John's Park, it 'das been extensively used, from the circumstance of having eradicated a large 'uauiity of worms, after all other remedies had fail ed, which was extensively known in that part of the city. ....,: In numerous cases other complaints were supposed lo exist, and the persons treated for fever, &c. but finally a trial of this Vermifuge discovered the true cause f the sickness, bv bringing avy almost an innumerable quantity of Worms, large and small, and ihe persons recovered with ureal despatch. Instances of this kind might be cited to an immense ex tent, but it is useless, one trial for 25 cents will show any one with astonish ment the certain effects of this Vermifuge. Hp H E passage of the Teeth through the gums produces troublesome and dan gerous Symptoms. It is known by moth ers that there is great irritation in the mouth aiid giirris during this process. The gums swell, the secretion of saliva is in creased, the child is s'eited with frequent and sudden fits of crying, watchings, starts ing in the sleep, and spasms of peculiar barts'j the child shrieks with extreme vio le'ricV, and thrusts its fingers into its mouth. If these precursory symptoms are hoi sp'ee dily alleviated, spasmodic convulsions uni versally supervene, and soon cause the dissolution of the infant. If mothers who have their little babes afflicted with these distressing, symptoms, would apply Dr. William Evans's Celebrated Soothing Syrup-, Which has preserved hundreds of infants when thought past recovery, from being suddenly attacked with thai fata malady, convulsions. I nis iniaiiioie remedy has preserved hundreds of Children, when thought past recovery: from convulsions. As Soon as the Syrup is rubbed on the gums, the child will recover. This preparation is so in nocehtj to efficacious, and so pleasant, that no child will refuse to let its cdms be rubbed with il. When infants are al the age bf four months though there is no ap pearance of teeth, one bottle of the Syrup should be used on ihe gums, to open the pores. Parents should never be without the Syrup in the nursery where there are young children; for if a child wakes in the night with pain in the gums; the Syrup immediately givesease by oped- iug the pores and healing the gums; there by preventing Convulsions, Fevers, Sic. To the Agent of Dr. Evans1 Soothing Syrup: Dear Sir The great benefit afforded to my suffering infant by your Soothing Syrup, In a case of protrdcted and painful dentition, must Convince every feeling parent how essential ah early ap plication of such an invaluable mediciue is to relieVe infant misery and torture My infant, while lefethiug, experienced such dcute sufferings, that it was attacked with Convulsions, and my wife arid family sup posed that death would soon release the babe from anguish till We procured a bot tle of your Syfnpj which as soon as ap plied to the gums a wonderful change Was produced and after a few applications the child displayed obvious relief, and by con tinuing in its use. I am glad to inform you, the child has completely recovered, and no recurrence of that awful complaint has since occurred; ihe teeth are emana ting daily and the child enjoys perfect health. 1 giveyoti my cheerful permission to make this acknowledgment public, and will gladly give any information on this circumstance. When children begin to be in pain with their leeth, shooting in their gums, put a little of the Syrup in a lea-spoon, and wilh the finger let ihe child's gums be rubbed for two or three minutes, three times a day. It must not be put to ihe breast immediately, for the milk would take the syrup off too soon. When the teeth are just coming through their gums, mothers should immediately apply the $y rup; it vill prefent the children having a fever, and undergoing that painful opera tion of lancing the gums, which always makes the tooth much, harder to come through, and sometimes causes'dealh.
