arrangement was made with the Bank of

the sum required, at such, times ( as they
might be called for by the progress of the
repairs, on bonds of the State, reciting on
their lace the' consideration and a deed
in trust on the, Railroad and its appendant
property, to secure their payment , Ac
cordingly, bonds dated April, May, and
July last, amounting in the whole to 25,-
uuu all payaote on the 1st January next,
were negotiated and a deed of trust execu
