Emancipation in Kentucky. 4 At a recent meeting of the' citizens of Trimble county, Ky., without distinction of party, resolutions were adopted reques ting the Hon. TIcnry'Ctay to resign his seat in the U. S. Senate, because; it is al leged, his doctrines on -emancipation vio late the rights of the peopIc,and disqualify him to represent the Commonwealth. And, at a public meeting or' discussion of slavery emancipation, which, took place on the lGth inst. in iladison coirnlv, be tween Cassius Ai Clay and Joseph Tur n'eri a' quarrel ensued, which resulted in a rencontre between the parties. They first drew' pistols, which 'snapped, but did not go off. They then attacked each other most fearfully and fiercely with bowie knives.
