Joint Kiwanis Meeting With
Rutherfordton Here Thursday
Local Kiwanians will hold a joint meeting next Thursday
night at 7:30 at Mimosa hotel. There will be no meeting Tues
day.
Boy Scout Committee Meets
In Tryon Thursday Night
The Polk County District Boy Scout Committee of the
Piedmont Council will meet at Missildine's Hall at 7:30
Thursday night, March 14. At this meeting the work of the
various departments of this committee will be presented
and plans made for further development of the Scout move
ment in Polk County.
At The Rotary Club
Yesterday Messrs. F. P. Bacon, C. P. Bur nett and W. A.
Schilietter made interesting talks on behalf of the Boy Scout
movement in Polk County.
