Mr. Ellington is prepared to show not only the ordinary use of Brush Duco, but also how to make artistic finishes in line with the new movement of home decoration which is sweeping over the country. In preparation for the demonstration all the latest colors in Brush Duco have been obtained. Among other things there will be a showing of the famous new “pour” method which has awakened such interest among women who use it for decorative purposes. Mr. Ellington will be prepared to answer any questions as to the application of Brush Duco. Noud Pass The Rogers Bill Editorial in Asheville Citizen Both Houses of the North Carolina Legislature have now passed the secret-ballot law If the Democrats at Raleigh are wise they will realize that enactment of the Rogers Bill which would protect the absentee ballot against its present abuses is just as important so far as Western North Carolina is concerned as the adoption of the Autralian ballot for State. We believe that it is more important. There are a very considerable number of Democrats in Western North Carolina who are “off the reservation” now. It is going to be hard to get many of them back into the fold again unless the absentee-ballot law is reformed. Kiuuanis Tonight At Mimosa The Kiwanis club will meet tonigot at Mimosa hotel at 7:30.
