Polk Countg School Board Named btj the Legislature A dispatch from Raleigh states that the members of the Polk county school board for the coming term are Miss Mae Irene Flentye of Tryon, E. B. Cloud of Columbus, Henry Thompson of Mill Spring, R. M. Hall of Saluda, Clarence Jackson of Green Creek. Truon Golf Course Best Sags Noted Golf Traveller Harold Kennedy, who it is said, holds the world's record for number of courses played on, played his 554th course Sunday at the Tryon Country club. He said that it was the best nine hole course he had ever played. His 555th game was played in Spartanburg. IStittrauis Babies Ladies Night program of the Kiwanis club Tuesday night at the Parish House will be colorful event. All the decorations will carry out the spirit of St. Patrick Day.
