Fortnitjlitlij to Present Last Plau for Season Wednesday “Wappin' Wharf’, a terrible play of Pirates will be presented by the Drama Fortnightly next Wednesday at the Parish House. The cast is as follows: Duke, Anson Merrick. Patch, Frank Moore’ Darlin’, Elizabeth Williams; The Captain, Edmund Poppe; Betsy, Constance Bertenshaw; Joe, Count Lyons; Meg, Olive Pratt; Sailor Captain, John Preston; Horseshoe Pitchers Joining Local horseshoe pitchers are anticipating a great deal of pleasure after work hours this summer and there will prob ably be contests with other towns nearby. Stakes have already been driven and members or tourists can get shoes at the Bulletin office. Members so far are: C. W. Morgan, W. W. Creasman, Seth M. Vlning, J. B. Hester Jr., B. L. Ballenger, Fred Swann, P. G. Morris, Jesse Rhodes, H. L. Shelnut, Ralph Jackson, Ray Jackson, Archie Butler, Vernon Hall, J. E. Lowe, Pose Wilson, H. H. Thompson, D. S. Blois, M. H. Morris, C. J. Lynch, R. L. Pearson, A. A. Merrick, W. S. Green. Property Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Ludlum have bought about 20 acres of land in Pacolet Valley on the highway adjoining George Cathey’s place. They expea to build a home. Deal made through C. R. Blanton. At Rotary Yesterday Mr. Singleton Green delivered an interesting talk on The Develop ment of the Cotton Industry in the Carolinas.
