Over 300 School Children See Mode at Strand Yesterday “She Goes to War" a thrilling war story of a girl who I went to war disguised as a man, is on at the Strand to night. Through courtesy of Tryon business men the school children of the community were admitted free and over 300 saw it yesterday. The picture is entertain ing, and educational. Delightful in every way. Firemen Meet Tonight Chief Wilson announces a firemen’s meeting tonight at City Hall, 8 p. m. Wants everybody there. Horse Show Judges Named Two internationally known judges for the coming Horse Show have been secured as follows: fudge J. Garner West of Garneruille , N. Y. for hunters and jumpers; and judge Chas. N. Hancher, Wheeling W. Va. for saddle class. A stone marker in memory of Sidney Lanier has been placed on the place of John L Jackson at Lynn. Unveiling ceremonies will be held in April with Rev. Clarence Stuart McClellan, and Dr. Wm, R. Owens of Asheville as chief speakers. The Rotary club meets Fri day, 1 p.im at Lanier Tea House. Mrs. John C. Campbell of Brasstown, N.C. principal speaker.
