Tryon Tom Thumb golfers went to Spartanburg last night add
defeated the champions of the Hub City. Those making the
trip were GW.Nessmith, Archie Butler, Jim Fisher, Dr. Bishop.
10 Join Mill Spring Church
Ten new members have joined the Mill Spring Baptist church
as a result of the big revival just closed, conducted by Rev. E.B.*

Hear Marble Champion
Sellars Edwards, Polk county’s marble shooting champion, and
4th in Dixie, spoke at the Rotary dub today, and gave an ac
count of his recent trip to the national tournament in Atlantic
