Bartleson Buys Paint Co. Announcement in the Spartanburg Herald states that C. W. Bartleson of Alliance, Ohio had bought the Stewart Bros. Paint Co. of Spartanburg, and that he would move his family to Spartanburg right away to make their home. Mr. Bartleson is vice-president ot the Stewart Paint Co. and the business in Spartanburg will be known as the Stewart-Bartle son Co. “Charlie” as Mr. Bartleson is known to many Tryon friends, formerly lived here, and he says that he is glad to get back to Spartanburg where he will be close to home. Trtjon Defeats Flat Rock The Tryon Baseball team went to Flat Rock Thursday after noon and defeated the Henderson county team 9*B. Taylor anti Stevenson made up the battery for Tryon. Col. Recical Ends Sunday The revival sendees being conducted at the Colum bus Baptist church bg the Ren. A. W. Aiders of For est Citg, will close Sunday night with the evening service. Miss Lucg Peet will talk Sunday morning at the Mill Spring Baptist chitrch in the absence or the pastor. Rev. Chas. B. Trammel who will be attend ing the revival services at the Columbus church. Colored Game Disbanded Alf Payne, Tryon colored third baseman, broke up the game with Hendersonville yesterday by walking off the field in Bth inning. He claimed an unfair decision.
