Vol. 4. The Bulletin Anniversary . and Progress Edition ~ In celebrating ourthird anniversary we take pride in reproducing in this edition the progress made by our community as recorded in the daily files of the Bulletin during the past three years. ~ This, the Third Anniversary edition of ,thq Tryon Daily Bulletin, is presented to our readers as another marker in the progress of* our community. For the Bulletin has continued to give service -even during hard times, not because of executive ability on the part of the management, but because the need for daily, home .news and daily advertising on a jnodest scale was demanded by the people. We are happy tp have been instrumental in filling this need. From the very beginning the Bulletin has tried to stay within its scope of usefulness. Modest in name, inadequate in equipment, and with zero for its Cap ital the little paper has struggled on without sales manship, contests, prizes or other tonics to build it up. It just grew of its own accord like a tree, because * the soil was fertile for it and its fruit useful to mankind. Est. 1-31-28
