Former Tryon Woman Dead Mrs. F.H Sheppard, formerly resident of Tryoii, died at Skyland, N.C., Monday mornimg. That afternoon her daughters, Misses Susan and Cecily Sheppard and Mrs. Charles Gonzalez of Pensacola, Florida, passed through Tryon at 5 P.M. taking their mother to he buried beside her husband in | Pensacola. Legion Meets Tonight The American Legion meets tonight at 8 o’clock at the City Hall . Fortnightly Tiro Nights The Drama Fortnightly will have two performances this week, Wed nesday and Thursday.
