Easter Dance - Monday
The first annual Easter Dance wijl be held Monday night at
Oak "Hall for Horst Show visitors and guests of the town. Bill
Davenport’s orchestra will furnish the music. Pine Crest Inn
and Oak Hall are hosts.
Horse Show Information
The Finance Committee announces that all reser
vations for seats at the shorn mast he covered with
remittances bg Monday. After that time seats will he
sold at the gate.
The Wags and Means Committee announces that
all though the present seats have been sold, more
seats are being built and no one who attends the
show will have to stand up. ;

Insane Negro Leaves Hospital
Archie King, 23 year old colored man, and son of Will King,
lost his mind yesterday at the hospital where he had been since
Wednesday, aud escaped to town about 2 p.m. Chief Wilson, Sheriff
•Wilkins and Cqnstable Durham; found him near the cemetery about 6
p.m. He put up a desperate fight to keep from being captured, but was
finally lodged in Columbus JaiL Monday he will be takeif to Goldsboro
state - insane asylum. King wfas considered a “good negro” until his
illness. ‘
