Crowds at Comerco Opening A crowd of approximately 600 people attended the opening of the new store Comerco in Cooper’s Gap yesterday. 100 pounds of coffee were given away to the first 100 families represented at the opening. String music was furnished by the Barnett band and Miss Nellie Rush ing of Tryon. Free drinks and sandwiches were served during the day.
