Bugs Mountain Industries
Mr. F. P. Bacon today announced the purchase of the Mountain In
dustries Gift Shop, from Mrs. W. B. Stone, a pioneer in gathering the
mountain-made gifts. The Appalachian Hand Weavers, makers of the »-
well-known Tryon Homespun, will continue the business of the Moun
tain Industries such as rugs, baskets, wool and cotton homespuns,pottery,
hosiery, and the regular line of gift shop merchandise.
West-Danidson Marriage
Miss Nellie Davidson and Mr. William West were married Sunday after- \ j
noon about 3:30 in Greenville, S.C. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. \J
Scott. Those attending the wedding from here were Misses Gertrude K
West and Ida Carnegie, and Messrs. Jack Ford and John Martin. The '
bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Davidson of Tryon, and the
groom is a son of Mrs. C. C. West of Columbus, with whom the couple
will make their home. The groom is connected with the Columbus
Mercantile Co.

0) Hogback Adoertising Trgon
The Spartanburg Herald-Journal Sunday had an article about Hogback
and the mountain resorts which was very encouraging. A number of out
of town papers are using Hogback as the starter to renewed interest in
mountain resort developments on a more stable plan.
Wilson-Foster Marriage
Mr. Charlie Wilson and Miss Mattie Foster were married Saturday/, ;
Spartanburg. The' bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Foster
the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Grayson Wilson, with wb
