Arrived yesterday from Chicago Mrs. H. G. Metcalf to her home in Columbus. Mrs. Chas. D. Brown, Miss Mildred Becker and Mr. John Brown to the Brown home here. Guests arriving at the J. W; Richardson home, their son Dr. Allen Richardson of Detroit who is expected with his family to night, and tomorrow, Dr. and Mrs. William Henry of Chester, S, C. who are expected tomorrow. Miss Florence Moore of Mission hospital, Asheville is spending her vacation at home. Born June 15 to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rucker of Rutherfordton, a daughter, Doris Evelyn, Mrs. Rucker was formerly Miss Eva Egerton of Mill Spring.
