Saluda In Pageant Asheville Citizen SALUDA, June 23— To the martial music of the gay Spanish adventurers, members of the Saluda dramatic club presented the march of Fernanndo De Soto through western North Carolina as the Saluda episode in the annual Rhododendron pageant yesterday evening. Mrs. C. L. Hill, director of the club, and her assist ants made all the costumes for this episode, fashioned the swords and armor that lent color to one of the most dramatic and gripping scenes in the wild history of the mountain country. A cast of 60 people, more than one tenth of the population of Saluda were in this presentation. W. B. Weigel, of Tryon, N. C., gave an interesting address on the changes in Hawaii during the past 100 years before the Rotary club luncheon Tuesday.
