Officers Raid Still
Columbus, N. C., July 10. —A raid by Rural Officers C. E. Carruth
and Joe Turpin near Blackscock school two miles west of Landrum here
yesterday netted the capture of a 60-gallon still, It was a steamer outfit,
which had been in operation a short time before but the distillers had
abandoned the plant. Spartanburg Herald
