Stone of Charlotte, W. J. Nesbit of Mill Spring and M. R. McCoton of Trgon. Polk Takes 2nd Prize At State Fair last week Mr. Artz and Miss Cox again brought honor to this countg. Last gear theg won 4th place. This gear nothing but 2nd prize of S2OO would satisfg them. Cleveland Co. won first prize 60 farmers co operated with the agents. 17 individual farmrs won prizes totaling $34.50. Mr. Artz and Miss Cox appreciate the help given them, Escaped Convict Caught Raymond Pace, said to be an eicaped convict, was arrested Saturday in Saluda , was put in Columbus jail. Yesterday he forced the assist ant jailor at point of a razor to give him the jail keys. Last night he was re-arrested near Landrum. He was in prison for housebreak ing. Undet 4 year sentence. Was married in Columbus jail before going to the prison sometime ago, Football Friday! With Inman , May be last game of season at Harmon Field,
