acrobatic fiddling, black face Comedians. Popular Radio and

Tennis Tournament On
The annual fall tournament of the Tryon Tennis Assn, is being held at
Lynncote. First event: Susan Rogers defeated Caroline McMillan 6-3,
6-4. Second event: Andrew Law & Waveriy Hester defeated Ted Wilcox
John McMillan 6 4, 2-6, 6-3. Third: J. Lee Lavendar won from John
McMillan: 6-1, 6-1. FOURTH: J.S. Massenburg defeated Ted Wilcox.
FIFTH: Martha Washburn defeated Catherine Johnson 8-6, 6-3. SIXTH:
Constance Burtenshaw defeated Mrs. Marion Coudert 6-3. 61, Other
events will be published as played.

Patriotic Song by 2nd Grade. Play “Melting Pot” by Grammar School.
Recitation: “Armistice” by 10th Grade. “Taps” by Ethan Rippy, Public
invited. Seats reserved for Ex. Service men.
