SATURDAY, Vol. 4 J.H.Gaze Wins $5 in Gold Nearly 500 people went to see Silent Sam last night I at Tryon Motor Co. where a new Chevrolet was on exhibition. The car was placed on Coca-Cola bottles so the wheels would run free; glasses of water on the fender and ra diator showed little vibration. The audience was asked to guess how long the car would run on 5 gallons of gasoline. It ran 7 hrs., & 2 min, I. H. Gaze , guessed 6 hrs, 57 min., within 5 minutes of the time . and gets the $5.
