Miss Maude Nealy was carried to St. Lukes hospital yesterday after
noon painfully bruised as a result of her turning over into a deep fill near
Bird Mt. Service Station. v

A silent Movie recommended by United Artists as an outstanding
picture will be shown tonight at the Tryon School house at 8 o’clock.

Married
Miss Mabel Barber daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thad Barber of
Mill Spring and Mr. Carl Edwards son of Mr. and Mrs. Elias Edwards,
were married Wednesday at Spartanburg.
Machine Fall on Man
Mr. James Ruppe of Landrum is at the hospital suffering severe cuts
about the head as a result of a pea thrasher falling on him.
Man Run ot>er at Intersection
Mr. John MJurdock of Tryon was run over this morning by an auto
mobile driven by Spence McCarroll near the,intersection at the Tryon
Motor Go. Mr. Murdock was severely bruised and taken to the hospital.
