Ltjnch Is Killed In Fall From Mule Andy H. Lynch, well known farmer of the Cooper Gap section of Polk county, was instantly killed near his home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock when he was thrown from the back of a mule. The farmer’s foot caught in the stirrup of the saddle and his head struck on a rock when he fell. His body was dragged several feet. He is survived by his widow, 12 children and several brothers and sisters. He was prominent in affairs of his community and was a member of Sunny View school board. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Kiwanis At Landrum The Try on Kiwanis club will meet Tuesday at 1 p. m. at the Landrum Baptist church. R. L. McNeelij will make the principal speech.
