Benefit Bridge Tuesday
The Polk County Library committee will give a benefit bridge party
Tuesday night at the Boxwood.lnn in Columbus. One of the features of
the patty will be homespun suit as a prize donated by an Asheville firm.
Tickets to the party are priced 50c and they may be obtained on Satur
day at the. Bulletin ofrice.

Woman’s Exchange
The Woman’s Exchange will he held Saturday
morning and afternoon at the Lanier Library during
the regular hours.
At The Hospital
Mrs. Massenburg is reported improving and Mrs. Holden is
doing nicely.
Injured In Cutting Tree
Fred Lawrence is in St. Lukes hospital with several
ribs broken as the result of a limb springing back
on him when 'he cut a tree down this morning. In
running away from the falling tree, Mr. Lawrence
stumbled and fell. His brother Ralph was with him
at the time.
