Silk Co. Bugs Building
The building in Columbus formerlg owned bu the
Cotton Mill was sold gesterdag bg Bacon & Ward
to Katterman & Mitchell Co. who expect to operate
a silk mill on the site within the next 60 dags. Plans
have been made to move the machinerg here at
once. About 100 people will be employed. Four acres of land adjoining
the mill were also bought by the new concern.
Riding & Hunt Club News
New portable fence panels for jumps over steeple chase course are being
provided. Foxes are being secured for races during the season. The fol
lowing dates have been named for activities sponsored by the club:
Gymkahana on March 3Qth, Horse and Hound Shows April 6th, Laurel
Tilting Tournament, April 20th. New costumes and other attractive
features have been added to this event.

Road Fixed
We are informed that a bridge has been placed over the new
road at Bird Mt. and cars are thus able to cross over the road.
