The Auxiliaries of W.N.C. diocese of the Episcopal church will meet Feb..l7 in Tryon. Mrs. Massenburg Dies TRYON,*N C. Jan. 22. Mrs. J. S. Massenburg died here this after noon at 1:30 at St. Lukes hospital following an illness of two weeks from streptococic infection of the throat complicated by general septice mia. ' The body will be taken to Oak Forest plantation in Wake County for burial in the family cemetery Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Massenburg before her marriage was Miss Ellen Colburn Seaweil .of Raleigh and Wake Forest. She was born Oct. 17, 1900. Was married Oct. 15, 1927 to Mr. James S. Massenburg, former member of the legis lature from Franklin county and the present attorney for Polk County and the Town of Tryon. Mr. and Mrs. Massenburg came to Tryon three years ago from Hendersonville where they lived for two years. Mrs. Massenburg was a graduate of Peace Institute and of the North Carolina College for Women. She is survived by her husband, two small children, James S. Jr. age 3 and Edward Seaweil age 5 months, her parents Mr, and Mrs. Joseph L. Seaweil of Raleigh; four brothers: Edward C. Richard, and Kenan of Raleigh and Henry of Charlotte; two sisters/ Misses Elizabeth and Octavia Seaweil of Raleigh, two aunts, Mrs. M. D. Hall of Fairfax, Va. and JMiss Miriam Seaweil of Raleigh. The remains will be shipped from Spartanburg at 6:30 Saturday morn ing. There will be no service here.
