Est. 1-31-28 Today’s Neius Headlines Gov. Roosevelt of New York has officially eptered his name as a candidate for President. Communistic rioting in Central America and U. S. rushes marines there. Weather increasing cloudiness probably followed by rain. Interest in Local Activities The Riding & Hunt Club is getting inquiries from a number of people interested in activities of the Club and in the Horse Show. Encouraging responses have been received by the Secretary from a letter requesting members to forward their dues. Periodicals and newspapers are writing in for programs of the events for the season. Will Barter or Trade It is foolish for one part of the country to suffer for anything when it has something of value to sell. Something is unbalanced. It is up to those in high places who control exports and credits to make the proper adjustments. In the meantime the Bulletin is continuing its policy of ex changing subscriptions and advertising for things or value from mer chants and farmers. No family in Polk county should be without the Bulletin- Weigel at Kiwanis .W. B. Weigel, recently returned from the British West Indies, will speuk tomorrow at the Kiwanis club at Mimosa Inn. i ! Good Movie Program The Movies this week sound interesting. “The Champ" will be shown tonight and Tuesday. “Rich Man’s Folly" for Wednesday and Thursday, and “Pardon Us" for Friday and Saturday.
