Mrs. Wickman Dies Mrs. E. K. Wickman, nee Miss Dorothy Day Crandall, age 39, died Tuesday night at 8 o'clock in New York City following a lingering ill ness. The body will be brought to Tryon. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o’dok at the Holy Cross Episcopal Church with the Rev, C. P, Burnett officiating. Private interment in Tryon cemetery. Besides her husband the deceased is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Crandall and one brother, Mr. Harold W. Crandall, all of Tryon Death Claims R. F. Belue. TRYON, N. C Jan. 27-R. Frank Belue, age 71, retired merchant and farmer died here at his home at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon following an illness of several weeks which developed into pneumonia. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 11 o’clock at the Landrum Baptist church with the pastor Rev. A. C. Odum and Dr. E. E. Bomar of Tryon officiating. Interment in Landrum cemetery, Mr. Belue had been a citizen of Tryon for the past 23 years having come here from Gowansville, S. C. Besides bis wife, formerly, Mrs. M. L. Flynn, the de ceased is survived by five married daughters, and 6ne sister, Mrs. Sally Belue of Landrum. Columbus lineup: Feagan, Walker, Hines, Hogle, McFarland. Sub: Smith. Co lumbus school bogs beat the Trgon school hogs. The Trgon girls defeated Columbus girls 2S to 18.
