Gardner’s Council on Un: employment and Relief visited Polk County last week and presented some phases of this work. Artz Clothing, Miss Katherine Beatson; Finance, Mr. Nelson Jackson, Jr. Employment, Mr. Chas. J. Lynch. Good Hospital Report s At the Annual Meeting of the Board of Trustees of St. Ltfkes Hospi tal on Tuesday evening the report for the year 1931 showed that 584 patients, 38 per cent more than during the previous year, received treat » ment at the Hospital. 41 infants were born and 135 children between - the ages of one month and fourteen years of age were treated.
