Est. 1-31-28 Fire Destroys lijan Home The home of T.G. Tucker, at Lynn was destroyed this morn ing by fire at 9 o’clock. The fire gained such headway that only few of the household goods were saved. A small. amount of ‘^/insurance. Kiwanis Musical Program The Kiwanis club enjoyed a musical program today noon at Mimosa Inn at 1 p.m. C.J. Lynch gave a talk on efforts being made by a number of town to give entertainment to their guests, Colored Baseball Hendersonville Red Sox will play Tryon all Stars Thursday afternoon at 3/30 o'clock at Riverside Park. Admission 15 & 25c. Township Delegates Elected Chairman 7. C. Fisher of Tryon township announces the following delegates to the County Democratic convention to be held Saturday, June 11 at 2 p.m. at Columbus Courthouse: C J. Lynch, Melvin Rhodes j J(P\ R. A.
