Field when both teams fought hard to win for
16 innings. Amos Foster for Tryon and Hall
for Enka pitched the full route. Hall struck out 12 and Foster 6.

Mrs. Tom Rice Buried
Mrs. Tom Rice, formerly of Polk county, but recently of Canton* died
in an Asheville hospital Friday. Funeral services held yesterday in Can"
ton. Interment at Easley, S. C. Husband and two children survive. Mrs.
Rice operated a ladies millinery shop at Canton.
