Danger ot Losing Co. Agts.
Miss Flentge urges the public to help save the offices
of Home and Couutg Farm agents which are now
being attacked bg a few people. She writes:
“I have just learned that a movement is now on foot to discontinue the
work of the Home and Farm agents. I do not believe that a majority of
the people in the County wish this work discontinued. I am sure that
the women of Tryon, if not most of the men, want this work continued.
I suggest that all those interested write at once to Mr. Granville Thomp
son of Hill Spring, Mr. Grover Feagan, Melvin Hill and Mr. Chas. D.
Davenport of Tryon, and state just how they feel about it.”
